Hello, lovely people.

I have to apologise. It just got too hard to post in two places while I was away - here, and on Facebook. Facebook won. It's a lot easier platform to upload photos to and is immediate.

Please feel free to go to my Facebook page scroll back and you'll see all the wonderful places we went to, people we met and what we did from 11 June through to 5 August. I know Facebook isn't for everyone, but for those of you that are interested and do use it,

I hope you enjoy seeing London, our time with the family in Sitges, Spain and our travel through France.

The easiest thing to upload is a video I did, in the fields behind our friends' home in Gretton, Northhamptonshire - after a couple of glasses of wine, just as the sun was setting. It was heaven. If you listen, just remember I'd had wine ...

It was a very special time away - all done by 14 relaxing train journeys, once we'd landed in London. It worked brilliantly, avoiding all those awful airport issues and cancelled flights throughout the UK and Europe, during June and July. The Trainline was so good, advising live times and platforms.

Meantime, I've finally found my mojo again, since returning to New Zealand two weeks ago, and I'm determined to finish my third book "Late Life Adventures in London - and Beyond" and have it published early December. That's my focus!

Cheers.

Annemarie

Thanks, Kathy. It'll be completely different to the others. More of a travelogue, but about our lives as well.
