After being unceremoniously sacked by a belligerent boss, Annemarie and her husband, Steve, find themselves searching for a new home, new employment and a way to salvage their dream of living in the French countryside.

But giving up isn't quite their style.

Before long, they're managing a magnificent French domaine, where opportunities abound to create luscious meals for family and guests, explore charming villages, discover local traditions and immerse themselves in the irresistible rhythms of rural France.

With wonderful food, fabulous wines, fascinating people and the beauty of the French countryside on their doorstep, perhaps this time they've finally found the life they dreamed of.

But France, as they've already discovered, has a habit of throwing the unexpected into the mix.

Will the complexities of French officialdom, family illness and a sudden career curveball threaten everything they've worked towards?

Or can Annemarie and Steve overcome yet another round of challenges and make their French adventure a lasting success?

Picking up where My French Platter leaves off, My French Platter Replenished is an entertaining travel memoir filled with humour, food, friendship and the unpredictable pleasures and pitfalls of living abroad.

Perfect for readers who love memoirs about moving to France, French country living, regional food and wine, and the joys and challenges of starting again in midlife.
