Adelaide has been showing us her best in temperatures that are mild, according to Adelaidians but plenty warm enough for me in the mid 20s.
We’ve been strolling through the botanic gardens, had a little platter lunch and a glass of wine in McLaren Vale, took a look at the Cube at D’Arenburg vineyard, drove out to Brighton & Hove and last and certainly the best, have had three fabulous days with Alex’s family in a little beach place called Normanville. It’s just over an hour from Adelaide and truly lovely.
At Normanville Beach - just heaven with the sun catching the cliff frontage.
On the boardwalk at Normanville, straight down onto that magnificent beach.

Coriole Vineyard - so pretty.
Couldn't believe the size of this house while we were out driving. You could fit four families in here.
I loved this house. Classic lines. You would have needed a forklift to hang those Christmas balls in the trees.
And I loved this beautiful classic home. Would have loved to look inside.
