A NEW CAREER IN FRANCE ... or New Zealand

Wouldn’t this be so good? I can see me and Steve, tootling around in this van, visiting little French villages, pulling out some colourful wrought-iron, fold-up tables and chairs and setting them out under a shady tree during a hot summer’s afternoon or evening. Pouring delicious chilled glasses of Rosé and other delightful French wines with little bowls of olives and crisps available on each table. You would be very welcome to join us!

I think New Zealand’s licensing laws would forbid it, sadly. Scroll down and get a taste of the French background music.

Salut!

Hi Annemarie. We live in a town in the country outside of Bordeaux. There is a bar on the corner of our street where we used to sit in the early evenings with a bottle of rosé and watch everyone else rushing home after work. Looking forward to being able to do this again when la confinement ends later this month.

Hello Kerrie! Lovely to hear from you. How lucky are you to live outside of Bordeaux and I love the sound of that bar on your corner. Send me a photo of you there, once it warms up and the lockdown eases. I would love to see it. Thank you for messaging. Best Annemarie
