2019 Wildlife Photographer of the Year

Updated: Aug 6, 2020

I met up with friend, Mary, on Tuesday, to visit the Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2019 exhibition. It is currently on at the Natural History Museum, which a lot of you will know, is just the most beautiful building itself.

The exhibition was outstanding and I photographed some of them so you could see them as well. They were breathtaking. Beside each photo was a great description of how the photo came to be taken. Some of the photographers went to extraordinary lengths to get that perfect shot.

Best of all, the award of Young Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2019 - Grand Title Winner - went to a New Zealander! His name is Cruz Erdmann and he won the age group 11-14 Years Old. He was on a night dive with his dad when he spotted a Bigfin reef squid. Wait til you see it. Just stunning.

These are just a few. Hope you enjoy them. You can click on the link above to see them all.
